Community Guidelines
Effective date: July 24, 2026
The Daily Rip's community exists for one thing: talking about cards with people who love them. These rules keep it worth being in. They apply to everything you post — messages, rooms, channels, photos, profiles — and they are part of our Terms of Use. We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive behavior.
The big one: no deals
No buying, selling, or trading — anywhere in the app. Don't solicit offers, don't post payment handles, don't negotiate deals in DMs, groups, or rooms. Talking about market prices is what the app is for; arranging transactions is not. Our filters automatically block messages containing payment-service references and deal solicitations, and accounts that try to route around the filters are removed.
Why: unmoderated peer-to-peer deals are how collectors get scammed. The community stays safe because deals stay out.
Also never allowed
- Scams and fraud — phishing, impersonation, fake giveaways, counterfeit promotion, or manipulation.
- Harassment and hate — attacks, slurs, threats, bullying, or content targeting people for who they are.
- Sexually explicit or shocking content.
- Violence or illegal activity — promoting either.
- Spam — repetitive posts, unsolicited promotion, engagement bait, or off-platform funnels.
- Doxxing — posting anyone's personal information.
- Infringement — content you don't have the right to post.
- Ban evasion — new accounts to dodge enforcement.
Tools you have
- Report any message from its long-press menu — reports go straight to our moderation queue and are acted on within 24 hours.
- Block any user — they can't DM you, and you stop seeing their content.
- Friends-only DMs — nobody can cold-message you; direct messages require an accepted friend request.
Enforcement
Depending on severity and history: content removal, warnings, feature restrictions, suspension, or permanent termination — at our discretion, with or without notice. Deal-arranging and scam attempts skip the warnings. If you believe we made a mistake, email support@thedailyrip.app and a human will review it.
