Subscriptions

How do I cancel or manage my subscription?

Subscriptions are billed and managed by Apple. On your iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → The Daily Rip. Cancelling stops the next renewal; your plan stays active until the end of the current period.

How do I request a refund?

Apple handles all payments and refunds: reportaproblem.apple.com, signed in with the Apple ID you used to purchase.

My subscription isn't showing as active

In the app, pull to refresh on the Me tab. If it still shows Free, restart the app; purchases re-sync on launch. Still stuck? Email us with your handle.

Account

How do I delete my account?

In the app: Me → Settings → Delete account. This is permanent — profile, holdings, photos, messages, and follows are removed. You can also email support@thedailyrip.app from your account email and we will process the deletion within 30 days.

How do I reset my password?

Use "Forgot password" on the sign-in screen and follow the email link.

How do I make my profile private?

Me → Edit profile → toggle Public profile off. Portfolio value and holdings visibility have separate toggles and are off by default.

Data

Where do prices come from?

Licensed market-data partners and public marketplace records — real sold transactions across major marketplaces and auction houses, refreshed around the clock. Charts mark the days with verified sales.

A price looks wrong

Marketplace title-matching occasionally attaches an odd sale despite our filters. Email the card name and screenshot — data reports go to the top of the queue.

Community

How do I report a message or user?

Long-press any message → Report. To block someone, long-press → Block user, or use the block option on their profile. Reports are reviewed and acted on within 24 hours. The full rules are in our Community Guidelines.

Why was my message blocked before sending?

Messages containing payment services or deal solicitations are blocked automatically — buying, selling, and trading aren't allowed on The Daily Rip. See why.
